ACA or "ObamaCare" Open enrollment began on November 15th. WEDF is again serving as a resource and navigator to assist our communities with pertinent decisions by partnering with local healthcare agencies and brokers. WEDF does not offer insurance. We are here to assist enrollees as they navigate through the process. Once enrollees are acclimated with the process, WEDF will refer to local agencies.
WEDF is hosting an informative session about the amendments at the Gretna Community Center on October 30th from 11AM to 1PM. Far too many of our neighbors have stated that they had no idea about the various amendments on this year's ballot. WEDF will not attempt to persuade attendees to either side of an amendent. We seek only to assist the members of our communities in obtaining a simpler understanding of what each amendment states.
